What is ATAC membership

Becoming a member of ATAC means you have more than a passing interest in HIV treatment issues. ATAC was created seven years ago by activists who demanded a voice in setting the policy, research and drug development agendas for HIV treatment. That intent continues to this day. People who want to join ATAC must have a deep desire to push progress forward in the development of HIV treatment and promoting access to that treatment.

ATAC is not a social club, nor is it just a discussion group. ATAC members must continually educate themselves in the science of HIV research and treatment. People who do not have a science background already must be willing and able to acquire the tools necessary to understand what HIV research and treatment are all about. Veteran members of ATAC are prepared to mentor new members who have the drive and dedication to learn.

If you have the interest, drive, and determination to become an HIV/AIDS activist like the kind just described, you may want to go to the membership application page.
